Arise, Leader.

What does it take to make a leader?

Someone once said,

Presence, warmth, power,

But let me rephrase, in my own words.

To me:

A leader has beautiful eyes,

To look ahead toward a vision,

Look behind recounting experience,

Look around loving its members,

Unable to rest in the absence of completion.

A leader has irresistible lips,

To greet authority with due honour,

To speak to outsiders with seasoned grace,

To share with members perfect love,

Gaining Heavenly and earthly favour.

A leader has attentive ears,

Receiving instructions with humility,

Listening to feedbacks patiently,

Responding to members' lives, even if unrequitedly,

A leader doesn't give up through the years.

A leader has unquenchable passion,

For people;

In the name of love, justice, and compassion.

And of those not said of a leader,

Love covers those.
