Hard Hearts.

It is unreal,

For me to say that I always see You,

That I always hear You,

Maybe for some it is happening,

But right now, right here,

I'm still on a journey.

It has happened,

That I feel You close always,

I could hear Your soft whisper,

For a month or two it lasted,

But then I side tracked,

Could I say life happened?

Excuses.

But God, thank You,

Deep inside I always know,

You are watching, You are close,

You have never given up on me,

Even when sometimes at You I've been angry.

Thank You,

Even though many times I fail,

Your presence sometimes I can't seem to feel,

But Your Spirit allows me to remember the knowledge of You,

Even in times of turbulence or still,

I know, You are,

Here.

It seems hard for many,

To know that You are God,

But God You've always proven Yourself,

As long as they open their hearts,

To You.

Soften our hearts still,

Lord.
