Selfish.

The sufferings and devastations seen today,
Is nothing more and nothing short of selfish human ways.

Looking down onto your phone,
Lights are green you still walk on,
The cars come but stop short of you,
The traffic slowed while you breezed through,
If you were hit by any means,
Somehow the debts drivers accrue.

Rubbish on the floor; "To throw I'm not paid",
Is it so hard to clean your own space?
"Why should I? I'm not using after this,
Let those who come after me do it",
Isn't this a craze?

Air pollution caused by smoke,
"It's my choice to a lit cigarette",
Asthmatics wheeze through the fog,
"Walk another way", other humans they'd forget.

They roamed the earth in search of land,
Kill, steal, destroy, what's not their clan,
"We have the best destruction plan,
To rid the earth of ethnic pests."

"Your life is worth no more than mine,
Much less indeed, go away; hide",
Although they are of the same people,
How come nothing given was ever equal?

I see and hear these disgusting things,
Sometimes I forget to not be judging,
Because what right have I, I'm imperfect too,
Lord, You be Judge, I submit to You.

And in this reflection,
Let me change too.
