Come Inside.

They say,
Be grey,
Be careful what you say,
Walls have ears.

Don't speak here,
Don't tell now,
Walls have ears;
Come inside,
Where it's secure.

But I find,
Most time,
Instead,
Ears have walls.

They say,
Don't play,
With fire,
Yet by fire,
Many fall.

They say,
Wait; stay,
Yet by dawn,
Many left,
Walking out to spring,
But quickly faced harsh winter.

The Messiah came,
Was there too much the same?
Somehow the people,
Refused to listen.

Come inside;
Into His loving embrace,
Where it's secure,
To listen.
