Of it we never endingly delight,
When we somehow manage to show,
Our knowledge and thoughts to reasonable fellows.
No reason to brag, but we must,
An inward desire close to lust,
To show the world that we are best,
Subtly saying, we have won the superiority test.
Hold your two cents,
Mine's worth a pound,
Hear ye all my common sense,
Lost respect earns no second chance,
Without humility, your words are but sounds.
To be knowledgeable,
Or to acknowledge,
Are not memories short?
Are not recognition temporary?
Should friendships be secondary?
Will not pride be momentary?
You can test commentary,
But if your faith is sedentary,
Having you as sole beneficiary,
It may lead to life dreary,
And the people around you,
In lonely solitary.
Therefore, put aside petty debate,
Most importantly, learn to relate,
Was it knowledge or life God preferred that we ate?
Humble yourselves now, it is not too late.
