Remember.

Will one moment of drought,
Kill the sunflower?
Although more than one thought,
Never to walk over.

But since those days,
It doesn't feel the same,
I don't know exactly what has changed,
But rationality feels no longer estranged,
Yet the converse probably was better;
Not that we should live without rationale,
But to dive into the unnecessary depths of logic,
Which still brings out the same truth,
Might change a person in the process,
And I don't mean for the better.

So come Lord, come quick,
Take Your place again,
Remind me of Your works,
Your Word and Your words,
Your comfort when I was weak,
Your providence when I was poor,
Help me remember these,
Even as I now know You rationally;
I want to know You personally, again.
