Look Out. (Escape.)

When the focus is too much,
Overwhelmingly on the mirror,
The beholder falls into,
Self-conceit.

Alas, it is a trap,
Do you see it?
Escape.

Thinking that the effort of improving self will make one better,
The beholder falls deeper into a downward spiral;
It is when she thinks not to better herself,
But to love others,
Only can she really,
Be better herself.

Looking too deep into herself,
Even unknowingly,
At that time, it seemed much to delve,
Slowly now, she has to look out,
Lest she be consumed by pride and error.

Return now,
To His Word;
Obedience brings more progresss,
Than looking for your own errors to correct.
