To the deep we go,
Exploring corals of depths unknown,
Further beneath our tanks can't hold,
The living creatures to be known,
Only through old stories told.
If we stay too long here,
We will run out of oxygen,
But because we have been here,
We have faith in our foundation.
So for most times let us stay,
On the surface where it's safe,
Keeping our hearts light,
Enjoying life,
And when the waves,
Come crashing in,
Then we shall dive,
And be reminded again.
Staying up where it is shallow,
Will keep us alive,
Rather than always diving deep,
Why should our joy the darkness keep?
But never stay afloat on waters,
Of which you have never seen the bottom.
