Around this Hour.

[Written on Thursday, 9th April]

Around this hour, Christ washed His disciples' feet

Around this hour, He was having a conversation with the twelve in their Passover seats

Around this hour, He broke the bread, which represented His body,

that would later be torn outwardly by hooked whips, 

and wearied inwardly by crucifixion

And, He passed around the cup representing the new covenant of grace sealed with His blood

After this hour, He prayed desperate prayers, dripping sweats of blood

After those prayers, He but submitted fully to the Father's Will - written with love
