You came,
Incomprehensible,
The plot,
What splendor of a King,
Would come to this tarnished lot,
To save but those believing,
Character here to sort,
What seemed foolish,
To men,
Could have been no other way -
How can a stained jar of milk,
Still be consumed,
Even if it just contained,
A drop of cyanide;
The whole jar must go,
But if washed clean,
Thorough and through,
With alkaline and chlorine,
Leaving no stain,
And filled again,
With new milk,
Then presentable,
For the Master's meal.
- Could there have been another way?
