The Day Will Come.

Time is not as it seems,

With the Lord;

A thousand years to Him is but a day,

And a day to Him spans a thousand years.

He has promises here,

Yet to be fulfilled,

Not because of slowness,

But because of you.

That none should die,

But all should live,

By repenting;

This,

Is why He is showing patience.

But to those who disregard His patience,

When His promises are come,

To them it will seem a surprise,

Scrambling around undone.

The day of the Lord,

Will surely come,

The skies will fade,

With loud sounds,

Heavenly bodies,

Will burn and melt,

Everything on earth,

Will with light pelt.
