Self Love is Overrated.

Have you loved yourself before

and put yourself first

You will find that life

is so dry and unentertaining

For your well alone is easy

and quick to fill with water

But loving others first

always open up oases here and there

As you water many

your water overflows

For the number always grows

and the giving never stops

so the joy, it always follows

for we were wired to give

And in giving,

to so many,

never will there be a boring day

and you will find that

you scarcely thirst

especially when you drink

from the river that flows from above.
