that I know is a lie
but I know that I
subconsciously believe
— that men are emotionless,
somewhat
Sometimes I am moved
by the emotions a man sings
Sometimes I marvel
at how a man can love
Sometimes their complaints
a frown to my face bring
Sometimes their tears
cause water in my eyes
Yet I often doubt
a man's sensitivity
I think I just
need to understand
their thought processes
How similar are they to women?
So that I don't accidentally hurt one
to the point of no return.
