To Love and Be Loved.

A penguin on ice
Tried to play nice
Too scared to hurt
Too scared to stay
The penguin disguisedly
ran away

A penguin in water
Tried to feign wonder
Too scared to be forgiven too quick
Too scared to take for granted
The penguin almost certainly
drowned beneath

But its Master saves it each time
From afar He whispers the way home
When He sees a familiar wade nearing
He chases to embrace the bruised bird

And its Master picks up its sinking hand
Pulling it up out of the dangerous blue
Giving enough breaths until it comes to
And patiently waits until it returns home, again

Each time there is a lesson kind
To remind the penguin not to fear
Not to fear to love and be loved
The strongest battle in the mind
Yet perfect love casts out all fear
— His perfect love.
