Ideal.

I need,
To run,
Away,
From this world,
Sometimes.

Why can't these cease:
Pretense, dishonesty, disease,
Harsh words, ignorance, "me, me, me".

I need a world,
Where we can be free,
Free to be,
Who we are,
Free to say,
What's on our mind,
Given it's clean,
Given it's pure.

No condemnation, no peer judgement,
Living together with no self-exaltation,
Exhorting each other, even when we fail,
Being ever-ready to help,
Where no one is ever alone.

But where poker faces can hurt a soul?
Behind the latter, a story untold;
Who is to blame, neither has fault,
Always dress with a smile unbought.

Give freely,
Because in giving is release;
Freedom from attachment,
Resentment,
Selfish pleasure,
Hidden agenda;
Give it in full measure.

Until it's real,
(I know it'll be,
One day,)
It stays an ideal.
