In Waiting.

I've been waiting,
For so long,
Why do I feel that it's near,
Yet my patience is getting thin.

I wonder if my intuition is wrong,
Even so, I feel at song,
A sweet feeling from within,
I know one day I will meet him.

Now I must focus on my life's pursue,
Focus my energy on people and You,
Come back productivity,
Efficiency, my friend,
These days of laze,
Will leave again.

I can't wait to run with my dreams,
Creeping slow now but still inching forward,
Hard times will come,
I'm still unprepared,
Learn to take risks,
I tell myself in the head,
Even if I fail,
I must try.

I can't wait to meet you,
When I am ready,
Fully prepared,
A worthy lady,
Hopefully you too,
Will be well prepared,
Living for God,
Character repaired.

Neither of us,
Will be perfect,
But it's okay,
Love covers all things;
Patience we'll learn,
Fights we'll have,
Smiles we'll give,
Books we'll read,
In silence we'll stare,
The fields we'll run,
The roads we'll travel,
Each's dream we'll chase,
For each other we'll care,
Have spontaneous fun,
At music we'll marvel,
At art share tastes.

I'll have to leave unrealistic expectations,
They make hearts flutter, but really begs disappointment,
It doesn't really matter, it's not so important,
What's important is how we choose, to journey together.
