I feel the earth,
The rain has cooled,
The heat of the day,
Where we once stayed,
Talking in wind,
Leaves praising You,
And I remember that swing.
Treading on ice,
All of my life,
I have been through sickness,
Many times I cry,
For You to heal,
Each time You reveal,
A different facet,
Of Your grace.
Treading on air,
I've always cared,
Urging for answers,
To be destination-aware,
But You never show,
What only You to know,
And I could not see,
It was not for my knowledge yet,
But You promised me,
That You'd hold my hand;
And I learn to believe.
Threading in faith,
Perseverance and wisdom,
Humility was a pain,
So is discipline and patience,
Yet still You're knitting,
The colours of my coat,
Threading it in due time,
All things You have ordained,
And so that in the end,
I have nothing to boast.
Always with You,
My weaknesses are exposed,
Nevertheless,
It's You I love most.
