And find yourself in cooling mist,
The pure sky and water your reward,
Sunrise and gold dusk your unending gift.
Don't, then, yearn for the valley,
Where you once were,
Have you forgotten your journey,
Without Him is only bitterness.
Yet He is gracious,
And merciful,
In trials and storms,
He is true.
Don't lose sight of Him,
When becoming too comfortable,
With the pleasure of His presence,
Forgetting that where you are,
Is truly bliss,
For stepping down,
Brings you so far,
And to climb back the mount,
Some then give up,
But keep holding on,
Hold onto God,
He surely hears,
He'll pull you up,
As long as you live,
And in His Name believe,
Hold onto Him,
The only Way.
